Hi there, I’m Alex. I’m a freelance writer and editor available for assignments. I’m a frequent contributor at Condé Nast Traveler, where I was previously an editor on staff and covered hotels, food and wine, New York City, and more.
I write fiction and am pursuing an MFA in creative writing at Brooklyn College, where I currently teach undergraduates and am on staff at the literary magazine, the Brooklyn Review.
I’ve also worked at Leon and Son Wine in Brooklyn and on staff at Thrillist. I’ve written about New York City nightlife, my love for vintage denim, and Honolulu hotels. I like chenin blanc, love complaining, and live in Brooklyn.
